Anna Zawada

Postdoctoral Researcher

Anna holds a Master's in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Gdansk University of Technology, where she worked on identifying metabolic products of anti-cancer active compounds. She then moved to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS in Poznań, studying the structure of the avian influenza virus genome. Her PhD at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS focused on genome stability in yeast, and her postdoctoral research at the International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines PAS explored cellular proteostasis and mitochondrial diseases.
