Barbara Kominek
MSc Student
Barbara is a master’s student at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), continuing her academic training after obtaining her engineering degree there in 2025. Her educational background combines life sciences with earlier studies in Automation and Robotics at the Warsaw University of Technology.
Her research interests focus on molecular genetics and genomic data analysis. She is actively involved in the Student Scientific Club of Experimental and Laboratory Animals, where she contributes to research projects centered on sequencing data analysis and interpretation. She also presents research findings at national and international scientific conferences. Barbara is currently an Intern in the Computational Genomics Group at the International Centre for Translational Eye Research (ICTER), where the team develops and applies computational approaches for analyzing high‑throughput sequencing data in translational eye research.
