Katarzyna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Bioengineering in 2024 for the thesis „Characterization of the cell-mediated immunity in a mixed culture of microglia and astrocytes during Sialodacryoadenitis virus (SDAV) infection - preliminary in vitro studies” and Master of Science degree in Biotechnology in 2025 for the thesis „The impact of silver and gold nanoparticles on the replication of murine coronavirus MHV - in vitro and in vivo studies” at Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She joined Computational Genomics Group as an intern in the Sonatina project led by Dr. Natalia Ochocka-Lewicka and is now continuing to work on mechanisms of gene regulation in immune cells within the tumor microenvironment.
