Joanna Bem

Joanna obtained her PhD degree at the University of Warsaw, where she investigated differentiation of embryonic stem cells. During a post-doc fellowship at the Centre of New Technologies she focused specifically on transcriptional regulation, role of histone acetylation and 3D chromatin structure in terminal neuronal differentiation. Later she joined the Institute of Molecular Machines, where she was engaged in research on the transcriptional memory in cancer. She is an author or co-author of 6 original papers, 2 reviews publications and contributed to 2 patents. In Marcin Tabaka group of Computational Genomics, ICTER she will be involved in the project 'Spatial Determinants of Immunotherapy Resistance in Cancer' funded by Weave- UNISONO grant.
